   Looking for a new trash can? Look no further
   After much research and browsing I finally settled upon this Eko stainless steel trash can for our recycling bin. I initially looked at simple human, our current trash can, and at multi compartment cans–thinking that we could then sort our recycling by type–cans and bottles in one, paper and everything else in the other, but all the reviews I found for those types were mixed or largely returned. SH used to be grade A quality, but even their reviews were mixed.Not Eko though. All of the reviews for this brand and model have been how much they love it and I can see why. This can is ‘soft’ so it won’t slam open and shut. We got one bag of their trash liners which we’ll use before switching to regular bags. I like the size of it, its nice and large, perfect for our recycling. We’ll still have to throw the boxes in the outdoor recycling bin, but for bottles/cans during parties and the like this is a great can for our recycling. It seems like it’ll hold a lot and it’s more reliable than haphazardly throwing papers in boxes and hoping they don’t fall out and spread all over the ground.

   Nice design and sturdy
   I’ve used this trash bin for quite a while now. I like the rectangular design and the foot pedal works flawlessly every time. I used up the sample bags that came with it but with a bit of stretching at the top, the unit will take standard us 13 gallon bags. The lift out liner makes cleaning easy and I have no chips or rust on the finish despite daily use in humid Florida.

   Outstanding trash bin
   This bin is well built and has an attractive finish. The plastic insert allows removes easily for cleaning and replacing the bag, and it keeps the inside of the outer bin clean. The foot pedal works well–quiet and slow. The lock on the lid is also a nice feature, keep the lid open for as long as needed.

    Great product
    Excellent material and finish, no fingerprints are left behind. The tank looks great and controls bad odors perfectly, the lid closes hermatically. The compartment that the lid has is great, I like to put Downy in it and it controls odors very well for weeks. Something I don’t like is that the hinge mechanism sticks out a lot when opening it and it has scratched my wall.

    Pretty neat
    ✨️please excuse the dirtiness on the top of the lid on mine, i made the mistake of setting it next to the stove while frying burgers last night and oil&butter splattered🙃✨️Paper towel for reference on length/width.Anyways..Trashcans are outrageously priced for being a freaking trash can…but I paid the price on this one because it does look nice and I do throw diapers in mine occasionally..that being said, it has a little compartment on the inside for maybe like, a cotton pad or something to put some essential oils or some sort, onto the pad and into the tray to help keep the odor away. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m looking forward to it!I love that it has a lock on the inside for when I’m taking the trash out or for when I’m dumping something and don’t want to hold it open. Super convenient!The trash container comes out of tje rest of the can, so the bag doesn’t go around the top of the outside of the trash can, just the inside one – if that makes sense! Which is nice because it doesn’t look so trashy that way. HaI love the look, I like that it’s not plastic. Oh, and they threw in a roll of 12 trash bags which was pretty cool!It’s pretty quiet as it opens and closes – it’s not super noisy how some stainless steel trash cans can be.If you have kids that like to touch things like mine, then there night be a slight notice in some little fingerprints, but I’ll take it for what it is! Nothing a washcloth can’t wipe down real quick. :’)Works perfect and doesn’t seem super cheaply made!
